30 personalities establish interdisciplinary think tank
Frankfurt am Main, 11 March 2008. "We live in Germany in the land of plenty
and do not realize that the sweet mash seam. The intellectual elite have more political
responsibility and their results interdisciplinary too short, holistic
concepts together in order to protect Germany from the sweet pulp, "
Prof. Dr. Manfred Pohl said at the first press conference of the Frankfurt
future council in Frankfurt today.
About 30 outstanding scientists from all over Germany as well as personalities
public figures have now been established in Frankfurt Rhein-Main in Germany and
the world, the Frankfurt Zukunftsrat to the context of their scientific
research results and through their experience of politics long-term,
continuous thinking to provide and plan for 10 to 20 years. The Frankfurt
Zukunftsrat is convinced that the current political
work not in the sense of citizens has, but is self-interest of politicians
.
The themes of the Frankfurt Future Council are:
• Education
• Demographic trends
• Migration and integration
• consumer society
• acceptance and life in the globalization
• organization of regional and local life
• human rights and democratic structures
• Global value systems, systems of peace and individual responsibility /
philosophy of the future
The members of the Frankfurt Future Council have set up three interdisciplinary working groups
on the following topics:
- education - under the direction of Dr. Bernhard Bueb
- Migration and integration - under the direction of Prof. Dr. Klaus J. Bade
- politics and economy - led by Oswald Metzger

develop these three working groups to new future-proof concepts that are provided to public officials
in politics and the media to implement in the political practice available
. This is one of the key points that the direct benefit
for the citizens in any future concept objective is formulated.
